21 Days of Prayer for Sons - Gentleness (Day 16)

This week, we've been leading a vacation bible school completely focused on prayer called Let's Go Pray! It's all about empowering children to use their gifts and be joyful in the place of prayer, ministering to God, relationship with God. Yesterday, Nick was teaching on the verse "Pray without ceasing." (1 Thessalonians 5:17) He was talking about how when you love someone, you hold them continually in your heart and thoughts. That means, when you have Jesus in your heart, He's always with you. He's with you when you wake up and lie down. He's with you when you eat your Cheerios and when you're playing soccer. Jesus is with you when you're disobedient or fighting with your brother. That's when you turn to him, pray to Jesus, ask Him what's going on with you. He hears your voice, He knows your heart. He loves you beyond imagining. That Still, Small Voice is gentle as a lamb, but strong as a lion.

Praying for you all. The enemy is raging this week at our house. The VBS is going AMAZING, but we've been attacked physically and spiritually. I believe this is in direct response to our leading children in prayer and my own efforts here. I am praying for you and your sons. I am lifting my boys up as they grow in the knowledge of God. Please take 90 seconds and pray for me and my family. Take a moment and lift up the other moms taking this prayer trek with you! We bear one another's burdens in love.

May__________honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks him for a reason for the hope that is in him; yet do it with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15)
